Comment: After completeing 22 years of teaching U.S. History and Political Science to high school sophomores and juniors I retired in May of 2019. Now I am adjusting to the glories of free time, writing a book and traveling. I moved to the gold coast of Chicago but try to spend as much time as possible in Door County, Wisconsin. Looking forward to seeiing everyone at the reunion!

Comment: Been working for the past 20 years at the Dupage County Health Dept, mostly as a mental health nurse. Right now I work at the PSR program in Wheaton. Graduated from SIU in 1974 (BA English) and then from Wesley Passavant School of Nursing in 1978. I became a grandmother last summer to Jacob. Still love SciFi.

Comment: Frank and I have settled into life as retirees, having left the full time work world (yikes!) 15 years ago.  We now live in Stuart,  Florida most of the time and near South Haven, Michigan in the summers.  Our children (2) have moved to Scottsdale, AZ and Los Angeles, so we spend a lot of time traveling.  Our grandchildren have somehow turned into a preteen and a teenager and I can no longer beat them at tennis!   I serve on the Board of a small insurance company in Chicago and do board work for our homeowners' association and its Foundation.  Mostly, though, I'm playing tennis, swimming or I have my head in a book.  Life is good and I count my blessings every day!  Can't wait to see you at the Reunion!!

Nancy Cicero (Czarny)

Comment: Married for 49.5 years and doing same job for the last 34 years.  I am an evening selfcheck cashier at a Jewel in Glendale Heights and also a partime secretary for the last 25 years at Glenbard North HS.  Pretty crazy, but I keep my brain active and home every day at noon to do something with my husband at our local Senior Center.  Class of "70" and 70 years old...what a trip it's been and happy to still be active.  Living in the same house in Hanover Park for 45 years and the grandkids total 13.  All 5 of my kids live pretty near to me and that's a blessing!  Very thankful for my years at OPRF as I compare them to what highschool is now.  As our parents use to say..."glad I grew up in the era that I did".

Comment: The short version of the last forty years.  Three semesters at NIU then to work as a secretary in Chicago. Married for twenty years, divorced, two children.  Now Kristen (31) is in Salt Lake City and Justin (27)still in this area, engaged and gave me my first little grandaughter, Madison.  I continue to be in the administrative profession with only my second employer.  More importantly, I've started my own business as a virtual assistant and hope to carry this into retirement.  Looking forward to leaving the snow belt during retirement.  Still see Sammy (Carolyn) Cotsworth and Robbie Brown from our class.  Some friendships are forever.  Look forward to seeing you all later this year.
